A draft rarely has just one next step. You might need to review its opening paragraph, check a reference, or decide whether a screenshot needs replacing. When those small jobs live in different notes, it is easy to lose track of where you planned to start.
WP Dashboard Todos puts a personal checklist on the WordPress dashboard. It is designed for writers and editors who want their next tasks near the place they publish. It does not generate content or decide what to publish for you.
For an editorial pass, start with a specific action: “Check the pricing reference in the comparison table” is easier to act on than “Fix article.” Add an optional due date and choose low, normal, or high priority. Move the task up or down with labeled buttons as your priorities change. Mark it complete when finished, or reopen it if it needs another pass.

Each WordPress user has a separate list on each site, with room for up to 100 tasks. Users need permission to edit posts. Task text is stored in WordPress user metadata; administrators with database access can inspect it. Freemius handles licensing and software updates.
There are deliberate limits to this first release. You cannot assign work to a colleague, receive reminders, drag tasks into order, or edit an existing task title. To change a title, delete that task and create a replacement. Deactivation and uninstall preserve task data; remove tasks in the widget first if you want them deleted.
